Privacy policy
No accounts, no tracking cookies, and whatever you set stays inside your own browser.

The short version
Score24hr has no sign-up and no user accounts, so we never have your name, email address or a password to begin with. We do not set tracking cookies, we do not embed third-party analytics, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.
The only things recorded from your use of the site are the choices you make yourself — your favourites and your light/dark theme — and those live in your own browser's localStorage. They are never transmitted to our servers.
What is stored in your browser
We use browser storage to remember exactly two things.
- Favourites — the teams, competitions and matches you star, under the key s24-favorites.
- Theme — whether you chose dark or light, under the key s24-theme.
What that trade-off means
Because this data sits on your device rather than with us, your favourites do not follow you to another device or another browser, and they disappear if you clear site data, browse privately, or switch machines. That is a deliberate trade: it is the price of not having accounts and not holding anything about you on a server.
It also means you can delete everything yourself at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings. You do not need to ask us, and there is nothing on our side left to delete.
Third-party data
All match data on this site is supplied by a third-party sports data provider. Those requests are made from our server, not from your browser, so the provider does not see which pages you personally open.
The exception is imagery — club badges and article pictures — which is loaded directly from the provider's CDN. For those files your browser connects to that third-party domain itself, and such a request necessarily carries the standard web details that come with it, including your IP address and user agent.
Server logs
Whoever hosts this site may keep ordinary web-server request logs — IP address, timestamp and the path requested — for security and technical troubleshooting. We add no collection of our own on top of that, and we do not link those logs to individuals.
Children
This is a general sports information site and is not directed at children. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children either.
Changes and contact
If we add a feature that changes how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the date shown above. Questions about privacy can be sent through the channel listed on our contact page, which is currently a placeholder awaiting real details.
